“Our next award honors the Broker/Manager of the Year and is designed to pay tribute to a very special person whose service and leadership in the office, in our community and on behalf of the real estate profession exemplifies what being a REALTOR® is all about.

Over his 40 year career in real estate, this year’s honoree has used his kindness, humor, professionalism and dedication to the real estate industry to become one of the most well-known and beloved members of the Denver Board of REALTORS® since joining the organization in 1966.

A proactive leader, he has served in numerous roles for the Denver Board including Board Treasurer in 1993 and President in 1995.

His visionary thinking helped spur operational efficiencies and growth of the Denver Board of REALTORS®.

His personal commitment to educational training excellence is continually reinforced with his staff as he makes courses available in-house to ensure ease of access and better opportunities for his brokers.

His willingness to listen, embrace ideas and apply new strategies has helped create a strong and successful family environment within his company.

On top of all of this, our honoree battled a life-threatening health crisis during this past year.

Tapping into his trademark humor, kindness and personal faith, he successfully fought the illness while serving as a pillar of strength to all of those around him.

The Denver Board is now accepting nominations for Broker/Manager of the Year for 2005.

The Broker/Manager of the Year Award is given to a Broker/Manager who has shown outstanding leadership, commitment, and skill in the real estate industry. Nominations for the award are accepted at the beginning of the year, and candidates are reviewed by an independent panel of real estate professionals. Applicants are judged on contributions to the industry, outstanding qualities, and any additional factors that set the individual apart in the award year.
